Remember this guy?
After a disappointing season filled with uninspiring play, the Chicago Bulls turn to familiar face in Doug Collins to right the ship. This is Collins second stint with the Bulls. Collins denied any interest in coaching again, but soon changed his mind after meeting with the Bulls brass.
This is an interesting hire for the Bulls, but not totally suprising considering their penchant for hiring former players/coaches to positions with the team. That seems to be a Reinsdorf staple as he takes similar tactics with the White Sox. Collins will inherit a lot of young talent and with the coach now in place the Bulls can put all their focus on the draft.
